How To Prepare For Your Consultation

Telephone

When offered a telephone consultation or triage call, you will be provided with an appointment slot but please be aware that you may be called at any time during the working day. Our clinician will try again if they cannot reach you the first time, but they will not try on more than three occasions.

Video Consultation

You may be offered a video consultation, either from one of our clinicians or a LIVI clinician. Please ensure that the device that you are using is accessible for the call, and that the camera and microphones are functioning correctly.

Face to Face Consultations

We are currently, and throughout the pandemic have been offering Face to Face consultations, these have been at the invitation of the clinician following either a triage call or e-consultation.

At both of our sites we have multiple hand sanitising stations, and our clinicians will be wearing PPE. At a minimum this will be with face coverings, and in certain circumstances will include gloves, Face Shields and Aprons.

At our Maidenbower site we are using a Video Doorbell, located on the left hand-side of the front door. As this is likely to result in queues at the front door at peak times, we ask that you arrive ten minutes early to your consultation to allow for this.”
